1. Who we are

Soothe Sciatica is a movement-and-wellness app operated by Native Builders, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. For any privacy question, email hello@thesoothesciatica.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, optional display name, and a securely hashed password.
• Health and wellness information you give us — your onboarding answers (such as where your pain is and how long you've had it) and your daily pain check-ins. We use this only to personalise and adjust your program.
• Usage information — pages viewed, sessions started and completed, and similar in-app activity, collected through our analytics provider to understand and improve the app.
• Advertising information — if you arrive from an ad, we record marketing attribution (for example UTM tags and a click identifier) and send conversion events (such as starting a trial or subscribing) to our advertising partner so we can measure our advertising.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store a customer and subscription reference, your plan, and billing status.
• Notifications — if you enable reminders, we store the push subscription needed to send them.
• Device and cookie information — see section 6.

3. How we use your information

To provide and personalise your program, process your subscription, send reminders you've asked for, respond to support requests, keep the service secure, measure and improve the app and our advertising, and meet our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We rely on: contract (to provide the service you sign up for), consent (for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies, and for any health information you choose to enter, which you can withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service), and legal obligation (for example, tax and accounting records).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• PostHog — product analytics (hosted in the EU).
• Meta — advertising measurement (only if you consent to advertising cookies).
• Our hosting and email providers — to run the app and send account emails.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly-necessary cookies to run the app and keep you signed in. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (including PostHog and Meta identifiers) to measure usage and our advertising. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing cookies or contacting us.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account and program data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal profile, progress, check-ins, and saved items from our systems, and cancel any active subscription. We may keep limited records (for example billing history) where the law requires.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account and data from Profile → Delete account, or email us and we'll help. EEA/UK users may also complain to their local data protection authority.

9. Security & international transfers

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. Some providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

Soothe Sciatica is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
